WEAPONS PROHIBITED AT COURTS
TEX. PENAL CODE § 46.03(a)(3)
(a) A person commits an offense if the person intentionally,
knowingly, or recklessly possesses or goes with a firearm,
location-restricted knife, club, or prohibited weapon listed in
Section 46.05(a):
(3) on the premises of any government court or offices utilized
by the court, unless pursuant to written regulations; ...
Under Texas law, individuals are not permitted to possess firearms or
other weapons in a court, or in any offices utilized by a court, including
the judge’s chambers and any court clerk or coordinator office, unless
given explicit written authorization to do so. The Texas Attorney
General has stated that this prohibition does not apply to the entire
courthouse if the building contains non-prohibited rooms and offices.

Texas law forbids the possession of all firearms and other weapons
on the premises of a racetrack. How does the law define “racetrack”?
